Another Powerhouse Gym Personal Training Success Story: Kyle Weiss

The experience I've had with Powerhouse Gym personal training has been nothing short of remarkable. I walked into Powerhouse Gym weighing 172 pounds and looking for a way to recover from a fractured back injury sustained during play in my junior football season. I wanted to gain size and strength in order to have a better chance at competing and earning a scholarship. Roger, the owner of Powerhouse Gym, developed an individualized nutrition plan and Mike was my personal trainer.

Roger told me what I needed to eat, how to cook and prepare my meals, and even the time to eat. Roger encouraged me to follow the plan and promised that I would see results. He was definitely right. With Roger's instruction and Mike's supervision, I packed on 23 pounds of healthy weight. I now know how to eat healthy and make the right choices.

When I first met with Mike, I was not in optimum shape and wasn't as coordinated as I desired. Mike told me he could help me get in shape and become more agile. The training was tough, but Mike kept on me to help give me that extra boost to reach my goals. I walked out of Powerhouse Gym achieving a weight of 195 pounds with more lean muscle mass. The hard work and great habits I developed at Powerhouse Gym helped me break multiple records, including winning The Suburban Journal's Athlete Of the Week, Prep Cast's Player of the Game October 16th, 2009, Second Team All Conference as an outside linebacker, and First Team All Conference Wide Receiver, Conference Skill Player of the Year, and First Team All State.

My dream of playing college football was just that -- a dream. That's until I met Roger, Mike, and the whole Powerhouse Gym team of St Louis personal trainers; now I'm living my dreams. When teammates, friends, and even strangers ask me where I work out, I always smile, tell them Powerhouse Gym, and hand them their card.
